Exploring Stuart Little: Building Strong Readers

Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, and Storytelling Skills for Grades 3–5

Course Description:
In this engaging introduction to classic literature, students will dive into the world of Stuart Little by E.B. White. Designed for young readers, this course builds essential skills in reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and story structure. Through guided read-aloud sessions, interactive discussions, and creative writing exercises, students will strengthen their ability to understand characters, settings, plot development, and literary themes.

Each session blends direct instruction with hands-on activities that encourage students to think critically about the text while expanding their vocabulary in meaningful, memorable ways. By the end of the course, students will not only improve their reading fluency but also gain confidence in describing characters, analyzing story events, and expressing their own ideas through writing.

Course Objectives:
